Marrakech Keys is an independent publication, and independence costs money to maintain. This page explains, plainly, how the site is funded.

What our affiliate links are

Marrakech Keys participates in the Booking.com Affiliate Partner Programme. Some links on this site — labelled with calls to action such as "Check availability on Booking.com" — are affiliate links. If you click one and complete a booking, Booking.com pays us a commission. These links are additionally marked for search engines with the rel="sponsored" attribute.

These affiliate links cover the range of services Booking.com offers, wherever we mention them editorially: accommodation (riads, hotels and guesthouses), attractions and activities (day trips and experiences), car rental, airport transfers, and flights. In every case the mechanism and the terms below are identical.

Marrakech Keys also uses Stay22, an affiliate technology partner. Stay22 can turn some of the travel and booking links on this site into affiliate links across its partner network — which includes Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, GetYourGuide, KAYAK and Tripadvisor. Where it does, the same terms apply: if you complete a booking after following one of these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

What this costs you

Nothing. The price you see and pay on Booking.com is exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself. The commission comes out of Booking.com's margin, not your pocket.

What affiliate income does not buy

• Placement. No hotel, riad, tour operator, car-hire firm, transfer company, airline or other business has ever paid to appear on this site, and none can. Every recommendation is chosen editorially.
• Favorable coverage. Our write-ups include honest drawbacks. A property cannot preview, edit or veto what we publish about it.
• Pressure tactics. We do not publish invented ratings or reviews, fake scarcity claims, countdown timers, or prices. Room rates change constantly, so we always direct you to Booking.com to see current prices for your dates.

Beyond this page, a short disclosure appears in the footer of every page of the site, so the relationship is visible wherever you encounter one of our links.

Other relationships

Marrakech Keys currently has no sponsorships, no paid posts, and no advertising placements. If that ever changes, this page and the affected content will say so explicitly.
